The Associated Licensed Detectives of New York State (ALDONYS) is a professional organization of Licensed Private Investigators and Watch Guard and Patrol (Security) firms. Membership requires proof of licensing by the New York State Department of State and other basic requirements to establish eligibility AT THE TIME OF MEMBERSHIP. Membership in ALDONYS does not constitute an endorsement of any member, nor a guarantee of such member's license status or legal standing.
ALDONYS requires its members to adhere to the association By-Laws and to a Code of Ethics. ALDONYS does not, however, accept, process or investigate complaints received from the public against its members relating to alleged misconduct, licensing issues or contractual/business disputes.
